A Toy to Teach Empathy

Not unlike basic building blocks in concept, here children play with a partner, one blindfolded and the other guiding them verbally to build. Due to the complexity of the blocks, the children can find this play frustrating – hence, they unearth a sense of what the other person is experiencing. Jill Greenberg’s Crying Children

Controversial photographer Jill Greenberg has compiled all her work into a book entitled End Times – the cover showing a piece from her infamous shoot of crying children – apparently she gives them candy and then takes it away.
